Dress Code

Dress Code is important not only for discipline but for instructors to be able to properly see dancers alignment and placement. We adhere to strict dress code policies in all of our Level I, II, III and IV classes. On occasion, we will allow a “dress down” day where dancers can wear different colors and styles to their classes.


  • Black leotard and pink tights.
  • Dancers are not allowed to wear shorts or leggings. Wrap skirts are allowed.
  • Hair must be in a bun
  • Pink Ballet shoes needed (canvas or leather)


  • Black leotard or top (no crop tops or stomachs showing)
  • Black shorts or black leggings, or tan tights
  • Hair in bun
  • Jazz shoes or pedinis (tan)


  • Black Leotard
  • Black shorts or leggings or tan tights
  • Hair in a bun
  • Tap shoes (black)

Hip Hop

  • Black leotard or top
  • Dark colored sweatpants or leggings
  • Hair pulled away from the face
  • Sneakers


  • Black leotard
  • Black shorts or black leggings.
  • Hair pulled up and out of the face
  • Bare Feet, Twyla pirouettes or foot “undies”

Dance Babe

  • Any color leotard
  • Pink or tan tights
  • Pink Ballet Shoes
  • Black Tap Shoes
  • Hair pulled up away from the face

Teen/Adult Classes

  • Any color leotard or top
  • Black shorts or leggings
  • Appropriate footwear depending on class
  • Hair pulled up away from the face

Leaps & Turns/Specialty

  • Black Leotard
  • Black shorts or leggings, or tan tights
  • Appropriate footware
  • Hair pulled away from the face
  • Dancers in Specialty Classes will need a 3 ring binder, paper, and pencil to every class.
